Rối Mơ – Life Puppets is an innovative performing arts show that reimagines the heritage of traditional Vietnamese water puppetry while introducing new puppet art forms. Featuring the world’s first simultaneous multi-dimensional stage and a Southeast Asian indigenous live orchestra, Life Puppets offers audiences a multilingual, boundary-free experience beyond space and time, telling deeply human stories through the symbolism of the 12 Zodiac animals.

Built upon the creative transformation of traditional water puppetry, the show presents an unprecedented fusion of water puppets, string puppets, shadow puppets, animated puppets, and contemporary dance, accompanied by an indigenous Southeast Asian music ensemble. The music is performed live by SEASOUL – Vietnam’s first indigenous ethnic orchestra – refreshing the entire soundtrack with enchanting sounds from traditional instruments such as mouth harps, leaf horns, dan tinh, dan goong, gongs, baranung drums, gineng drums, and more.
